Answer the prompt. #2 :)

Simple as that. I will share my answer with you & you can share your answer with me in the comments! Or make a blog post about it, but don't forget to share it with me! :)

Write about something you now know that you wish you knew earlier in life.  How could this knowledge have helped you?

I wish that when I was in high school I actually knew that none of the drama mattered & that it was important to actually do the work& to have confidence. I slacked off & my whole day, every day was filled with being bullied and fighting with old friends. But if I would have known how minuscule those events were & something as simple as speaking up to the right person, they could have been avoided. I will make a difference one day. Bullying is a big deal but no one ever takes the time to think about what it really does. I have such an issue with the school systems & how they handle bad situations. I will do a post one day about my thoughts.

Your turn! :))

Name something you've lost or gave away that can never be replaced?

There are so many things that come to mind. I guess you could say most of the things I own have sentimental value, so when I lose them or something happens it's a bit sad. I had this huge stuffed animal dog when I was about 7 and then until I was 13 or so. I slept on it and used it as a chair. It was sturdy! I remember my mom paid $100 for it at Toy's R Us & a guy had to get a fork lift to get it from a really high shelf. It was bigger then my 7 year old self! Oh, I miss that. :) (I tried to find a photo, I couldn't find anything! But plenty of 90's memories.)

Your turn! :)

History is amazing. :)

Alexander & I have been watching documentaries. The most recent one was called, "When We Left Earth: The  NASA Missions." So, me being me I like to know more about the people they talk about. I do this with everything! Movies, T.V shows, books & what have you. Anyways, I looked up John Glenn who was the first man to enter space in the United States. From there I wondered what happened today in history, especially it being Friday the thirteenth. So expand your knowledge and read on!

1559: Elizabeth I Crowned queen of England in Westminster Abbey.

1610: Galileo Galilei discovers Callisto, 4th satellite of Jupiter.

1794: Congress changes U.S to 15 stars & 15 stripes.

1908: French pilot Henry Farman is first European to fly round trip.

1927: U.S & Mexico battle over oil interest.

1930: "Mickey Mouse" comic strip first appears.

1942: Henry Ford patents a method of constructing plastic auto bodies.

1943: Hitler declares "Total War."

1966: U.S performs nuclear test at Nevada Test Site.

1969: Beatles release "Yellow Submarine" album.

1979: YMCA files libel suit against Village People's YMCA song.

1985: Cerebral palsy telethon raises $17,1000,000.

1987: 7 top New York mafia bosses sentenced to 100 years in prison each.

1992: U.S serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer pleads guilty but insane.

Now lets look at some that occured on my birthday! If you don't feel like reading on ( you might not even be with me anymore) you may leave. I understand. But I enjoy history & expanding my knowledge & hope to help others to do the same! Plus, little facts are fun to share!

I may comment on these events. They did happen on the day of my birth! Although, most were before I was here but I'm allowed to have an opinion right?

685: John V begins his reign as Catholic Pope.   (YAY!)

1298: Jews are massacred in Wurzburg Germany. (Not a good event but important history..)

1726: Benjamin Franklin sails back to Philadelphia. (I like him too, but Abe's my fave.)

1840: Union Act passed by British Parliament, uniting Upper & Lower Canada. (Went there in Kindergarten)

1877: First U.S municipal railroad railroad, Cincinnati Southern, begin operations. (Choo! Choo!)

1880: First commercial hydroelectric power plant begin, Grand Rapid, MI. (Woo, I live in MI.)

Are you still reading? Yes? Well then I love you! :D

1940: "Blitz" all-night air raid by German bombers on London begins. (My bf&I are WWII fanatics.)

1960: 15th U.S Women's Open Golf Championship won by Betsy Rawls. (Look for photo at end.)

1965: Beatles "Help" is released in UK. (I love the Beatles! Listen to the song, "Number 9.")

1967: 43 die in race riot in Detroit. (Learn more here or here. It's an amazing story. &it ties to my history, my grandmother-in-laws father owned a blind pig. Just shows how different things where back then.)

My Marine. :)

Today I saw my marine. Her name is Logan & she is nothing but an inspiration. I love her to death & have waited over a year to see her! She's been stationed in Japan with little contact. A few friends & herself came up with a plan to bring her home for Christmas & surprise her family yesterday! It worked perfectly! The amount of pride & joy I have in my heart right now cannot be put into words. She doesn't compete with the girls but the boys. She's the best & strives to be better then expected. How can you not look up to someone like her? It's the most wonderful Christmas presents I will receive this year. I love my marine.
The day she left for boot camp. :( Crying my eyes out.

She took us to the zoo before she left! :D
Signing in to be a Marine. :) I was there!
Last day of senior year before she left for boot camp. 2010

Goals.

My goal this new years is to start running. Although, I'm going to start early because my eating habits have gotten out of control! I think my body is set to eat more during the month of December because of Christmas. Now, me saying I'm going to run is a BIG deal. Reason being is I hate it! Not so much anymore, I've been working out & I've gotten to the point where I believe I can run without feeling like I'm dying, rather than the satisfying pain you should feel. Does that make since?lol So, I'm going to try to get the motivation to run&STICK TO IT! ...maybe. :)

What are your goals going to be this year?

Have you ever stuck to a goal that you made? I know I have a hard time with it!

Also, I wanted to share some happy news! My Alexander just got a new car finally! It's beautiful, a Jaguar XK8. Oh, it's so fast, convertible & perfect condition.

I can't wait until summer, driving around with the top down! :)

&i wanted to share this with you as well! Look how different I look in these two photo's!

Isn't the difference insane! I don't know what's even changed but it's strange to see such a big difference. .
I wish I had blue eyes. Red hair. Smaller nose. Smaller body, less fat. But sadly no..I am what I am &I'm trying the best I can to accept me..for me!

&if you have high self esteem, I envy you. Share your secrets on how you love you. :)

Oh the weather..

...outside is frightful. Not snow but rain. It's almost December & it's raining! Thank goodness though, I'm so nervous for the snow. Last winter I had a GMC Jimmy, he was amazing but then he got sick & i sold him. Now I have a Dodge Stratus named Dumbledore. No four wheel drive. A broken strut. Ahhhhh! If anyone knows about Michigan weather it's unpredictable to say the least. About a week ago we had a few flurries and the next day it was 60 degree's and sunny! Maybe we won't have any snow this winter. Ha, no I would miss it, just not the driving through it part. Especially since I can't have snow day's at work, so I'll end up driving through a blizzard & 3 feet of snow. That's what happened last year anyhow. It was also -5 outside and I had no heat in my car. I layered up my clothes to the point I looked like the little boy from "A Christmas Story." lol

Yep this is what I looked like. 'bout a foot taller though.lol

Does anyone have experience driving cars in the winter? Or is your winter bright & warm? (If so i envy you)
